The American Hospital Association (AHA) has recognized Grand View Health in appreciation for 100 years of participation and leadership in the AHA.
AHA Regional Executive Michael Draine presented the award to Grand View Health President and CEO Douglas Hughes, RN, BSN, MBA, in a special ceremony at the hospital.
“The AHA is proud to recognize Grand View Health for 100 years of membership in the AHA and for their dedication to Bucks and Montgomery counties,” Draine said. “We thank their leaders, medical staff, caregivers and other colleagues for providing a full range of medical care that is tailored to meet each patient’s needs.”
Grand View’s 100-year recognition for AHA membership comes 11 months after the hospital celebrated its 110th anniversary as Bucks County’s first hospital. Today, Grand View is a 194-bed hospital with a full range of inpatient and outpatient care, particularly emphasizing surgery and orthopaedics, women’s and children’s health, heart and vascular care, and cancer treatment. The hospital’s campus includes The Pavilion at Grand View Health — the largest expansion project in Grand View’s 110-year history — which includes an Emergency Department, Level II Adult Trauma Center, 52 private patient smart rooms and 10 operating rooms.
