The H&K Group recently met with Grand View Health leadership to present a $33,000 check that will benefit the hospital’s pavilion project. The donation was made possible from the proceeds of H&K Group’s 14th Annual Charity Golf Open held on Sept. 25 at Lederach Golf Club.
The many employees of H&K are among the top users of the local health system and are excited for the “grand” plans for the hospital’s transformational pavilion that will support the system’s recently accredited Level II Adult Trauma Center. Opening in 2023, the $198 million, six-story, 190,000-square-foot addition adjacent to the hospital includes 52 private patient rooms, 10 new Operating Rooms, and an expanded Emergency Department with rooftop helipad and three trauma bays. Accepting the donation on behalf of Grand View Health was Doug Hughes, RN, Interim President and Chief Executive Officer, Mark Horne, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, and David Alderfer, Director of Development of Grand View Health Foundation.
