Arthur Anderson, a financial executive with nearly two decades of healthcare-specific experience, will join Grand View Health as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective November 21, 2022.
In his new role, Anderson will be responsible for the oversight and management of the financial functions within Grand View Health, including the continuing development of the health system’s strategic financial plan, program-specific business plans, and the annual operating and capital budgets. He will also oversee financial reporting and ensure the organization’s overall fiscal viability.
“Arthur has led high-functioning finance teams for several acute care hospitals, surgical centers and outpatient centers throughout our region,” said Doug Hughes, RN, BSN, MBA, President and CEO of Grand View Health. “His depth and breadth of financial knowledge will be a significant asset to Grand View Health as we look to innovate community healthcare for the people of our region.”
Anderson joins Grand View Health after four years as Chief Finance Officer and Vice President of Finance for Crozer Health, where he was responsible for all fiscal matters pertaining to the health system. At Crozer Health, Anderson also partnered with senior leaders to develop growth initiatives to improve the health system’s operating margin.
Prior to his time at Crozer Health, Anderson spent four years as the Director of Finance for Lankenau Medical Center; three years as CFO at the Consortium Behavioral Health Agency; two years as the Assistant CFO at Pottstown Memorial Hospital; and three years as Controller at Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Philadelphia.
Before pivoting to healthcare, Anderson had worked for several financial services firms and with the international professional services company PwC.
At Grand View Health, Anderson will replace Steven Muravsky, who had served as the organization’s interim CFO since February.
Anderson resides in Broomall.
