As part of our exciting new life-saving pursuit to become a Level II Trauma Center starting in 2021, we must purchase specialized equipment such as a motorized stretcher to transport patients from the helicopter to the Emergency Department. This equipment is critical in saving time when every minute counts during “The Golden Hour,” the most important time between injury and the start of treatment.
The more resources we have to fight COVID-19, the better able we are to keep our community healthy. Help us weather this storm together by building our capacity for large volumes of tests and slowing the spread through proper PPE, disinfection, & sanitation.
Sarah was a talented young social worker, loving wife and devoted mom. Sadly, this past July, a tragic accident took Sarah from her family. Her mother, Judith Ott, is a former Grand View employee and current Trustee. The family wishes to honor Sarah’s memory and help others through this fund to create comforting and welcoming waiting spaces as part of the hospital’s current expansion project. Your unrestricted gift allows Grand View to use your support where it is most needed. These gifts often help cancer patients who need financial assistance for wigs, groceries, and gas. We have helped families with funeral expenses and patients who cannot pay for their care. Grand View social workers and caregivers identify deserving patients.
